  So called jokes .

What is ludicrous is the fact that though men and women are surviving since the inception  from the same time ; still we as a human race aren't acquainted of each others competability. We have made the opposite gender a figure of fun to amuse and jest about. I am taking in general and not taking any sides. Honestly , who doesn't like to crack substandard witticisms but severely low, sexual and absurd humor startles me.

It makes me doubt our concept of personal space and acceptance . Because "men will be men" is an insane statement . Yes , they will remain men and there's no point boasting and being sacracstic about it .Or "all men are the same" ; stuff like this project  generalisation to extends that Adolf Hitler and Mahatma Gandhi can almost be compared. Now that is hysterial.

And not to forget infinite sarcasm on women's body and their sexual well being.  On their make up and their wit . But do we really need that ,I reckon ? Our society is amused by condescending the other gender and make nasty laugh out of somebody's already low self esteem ?

The campaign we have started is on a very basic issue but the depth of comprehension it requires is yet to come in us as a society . I am no way telling you to be  stern and sober. But just telling you that how our comments and sarcasm  shape our society.

Stay  blessed !

Not only do us feminists not hate men, we also don’t believe that women are better than them either. Feminism is about equality between men and women, something that is yet to exist in the world. Some people seem to think, perhaps because of the ‘fem’ prefix, that feminism seeks to bring men down from their positions of power, when in reality it’s about correcting the power imbalance and affording women the same opportunities as their male peers.

Our Motive

We The Women is a campaign initiated by two teenagers, Sumedha Sharma and Charul Mehndiratta. Don't get us wrong; it's not only for the women, but all of you, me, us. We The Women aims on empowering the youth by building up their "SELF CONFIDENCE", a weapon to all social and emotional issues.

Always have a High Self Esteem

"I think every woman ought to have an incredibly high self-esteem. It will not only help them to have due respect for themselves, but also they would know their raised minimum standards of being treated; they will know the price of themselves and will take in priority their own opinions rather than relying on or having to follow others'." ~Sumedha
